love jill’s herringbone.

Here’s a little eye candy from someone else.

love jill's herringbone runner

After swapping patterns recently, my friend Jill Wolfe made this Herringbone runner. Jill is a very talented designer out of Sebastian (Florida) who I met last summer in Vero Beach. She designs patterns, has an etsy shop, makes her own clothes, and is all around creative. We hit it off instantly.

It’s really fun for me to see what other people do with my patterns, and I think her version of the Herringbone is just fabulous.

Thanks Jill!

smells so good.

orange blossoms

The orange blossoms are just starting to bloom. I noticed just a couple days ago when I was driving with the windows down. Probably the best smell ever.

OK, now back to some sewing.

fabric fun.

fabric I picked up at expo

I made off with some good loot at the sewing expo this last week/end. Looking at my fabric stack, I find it a little funny that basically all of it will be for some clothes sewing. Is it too obvious how much I want to update my wardrobe? I’m seeing some blouses, a dress, and a jacket for sure.

The rest of the expo was fun! The Fabric Warehouse booth (where I spend most of my time) was bustling. They set me (and my patterns) up in a nice and cozy corner. I met lots of neat sew-ers and thoroughly enjoyed talking to them about what they are working on. There was also some very tasty strawberry shortcake. Loved that.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and to Fabric Warehouse for letting me participate!
