Road Trip Pattern Club update.

Have you been keeping up with the Road Trip Pattern Club? I’ve been pretty excited about the projects. Here’s what’s happened so far.

#1 Betz White’s road tripper duffel

#2 Patty Young’s kimono wrap

#3 the most recently released pattern from Carla Hegeman Crim

There are two more patterns still to come–including mine–and you definitely can still join.

Summer Road Trip Club.

Hi, friends! I’m about halfway home from Pittsburgh (Quilt Market news to come later), but I wanted to quickly share a fun collaboration that I’ll be participating in this summer. I’m part of a Road Trip Pattern Club along with 4 other (amazing) designers–Betz White, Patty Young, Carla Hegeman Crim, and Liesl Gibson. (I just realized the irony of announcing a road trip club while actually on a road trip…)

Road Trip Pattern Club

Every three weeks from late May through August club members will receive an exclusive, brand-new PDF sewing pattern delivered directly to your inbox.

There are 5 travel inspired patterns that include bags, accessories and women’s clothing, ranging in skill from confident beginner to intermediate. The designs will be a mystery until they are revealed at each road trip “destination” every 3 weeks. We promise they will be worth the wait! The patterns will be exclusive to the club for the duration. Even if you join after the club begins, you will receive all patterns released to the club up until that point.

The first pattern is being released on Tuesday May 27, followed by four more patterns revealed every three weeks through August. The one-time membership fee for the club is $35 for all five patterns. But early bird sign up starts today! From now through Memorial Day (May 26, 2014) you’ll receive a $5 discount making your membership only $30!

spoonflower social.

It was a no-brainer when the folks at Spoonflower asked if I wanted to make a social tote out of their fabrics. Well, almost a no-brainer. My one fear was getting totally lost in all the creatively unique designs in their marketplace–that part would be no easy decision! But I managed to whittle down a long list of favorites and am so pleased with how it turned out. My wonderful Mom ended up putting it together and did an awesome job! Thanks, Mom!

Here are links to the fabrics I ended up using.

Exterior (which I had printed on the cotton/linen–so nice!)

And Noodlehead is doing a giveaway over at her blog, so if you haven’t already I think there’s still time to enter.
