Handwork webinar with the Modern Quilt Guild tonight.

Above is the current state of my most-frequently-used Nest Egg tote. It’s what I’ve mainly been using to tote around my latest handwork projects over the last several weeks, including my (pre)Quilt Market projects…my travel projects…and my now-that-I’m-home projects. Because of it’s constantly-changing contents, I thought it was the perfect visual to use to introduce the webinar that I’ll be presenting tonight for the Modern Quilt Guild titled “Handwork is fun.” It’s starting at 9pm (EST), and you can find out more here.

Otherwise, I am glad to finally be back home after a long time away. I’m gearing up to share about my new releases and other recent goodies very soon. So stay tuned.

You made the webinar so much fun last night–I’m a big fan of your fabric and never knew that you are a Luddite, too!! Just got a machine a year ago and before that, did everything by hand–drawing, cutting, piecing-/-and everything queen or king sized, for the most part. I usually complete 8-10 quilts per year. Slow stitching is definitely where it’s at—conscious creating!
Thanks for a great hour and lots of inspiration always—
